Starting in spring 2016 we offer two holiday apartments for rent on the central square of the historical village of Cuacos de Yuste, at only about 2 hours west of Madrid. The apartments are named ´Entre Fuentes´ (‘In between springs’), as a reference to the many springs with crystal clear water you can find throughout the village of Cuacos de Yuste.

Both apartments have an atmosphere of tranquility, space and comfort. The village is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and in the area you will find many possibilities for touristic activities and attractions. ´Entre Fuentes´ is the perfect base camp for a special holiday in surprising Extremadura. It also offers a pleasant stay in any season, thanks to the especially mild climate in the ´La Vera´ area.

Cuacos de Yuste

It´s a historical village of great beauty in a stunning landscape. The streets, squares, alleys and paths to the fields invite you to stroll, walk or take off on a serious hike through the hills of the Vera Valley and the mountains of the Gredos mountain range. And then of course there is also the world famous Monastery of Yuste, where emperor Charles V in the 16th century spent the last part of his life. Within the village you will find several bars and restaurants. There are also shops where you can buy fresh local products. Besides the possibility to swim in the many natural pools in the surrounding area, you can also use the municipal pool with its beautiful and well maintained garden area, views of the village and the mountains and a bar/restaurant.

If you make a reservation more than 2 weeks low season and 3 weeks high season before the arrival date, a downpayment is not required. Only 2 weeks low season or 3 weeks high season before arrival we ask you to make a bank transfer of the total rent. In case you reserve within 2 weeks low season and 3 weeks high season before the arrival date, we will ask you to make a full payment at the moment of reserving your stay in ´Entre Fuentes´. With restrictions that prevent a trip to Cuacos de Yuste, or with personal health problems of the travellers, you can cancel or change your reservation without any problem and at no cost.
